Lou is a licensed real estate broker who has been a successful REALTOR® since 1979 specializing Burlingame, Hillsborough, San Mateo, Belmont, San Carlos and Foster City. He owned his own company from 1989 until 1997 when he joined another brokerage so that he could have more time to do the job he loves most...selling real estate.

Personal Information??

Born in El Paso, Texas, Lou's family moved to South San Francisco at the age of 4.   He attended both the College of San Mateo and San Jose State University. Now a 26 year resident of Burlingame, Lou is married and the father of an 9 year old son,19 yera old stepson and a 17year old stepdaughter. As a result, Lou is acutely aware of the needs of families in the area and works to assure total satisfaction.
The majority of Lou's clients are professionals who have been referred to him by satisfied past clients. Lou works extensively with employees of companies such as People Magazine, Sun Microsystems, and Charles Schwab,GAP,DELL and knows the kind of quality that these professionals demand. Lou is bi-lingual, fluent in both English and Spanish.

Lou is a member of the San Mateo County Association of REALTORS®, the California Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®. All of these associations uphold a strict code of ethics and ensure that their members are up to date on the latest marketing techniques and legislation affecting real estate.
Strongly committed to professional standards, Lou has helped shape the future of real estate in the area by serving extensively on committees at both the local and state level. He has served on both the local multiple listing committee and grievance committee. He was chairman of the grievance committee and professional standards committee and also served on the San Mateo County Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors for a number of years. He has served as secretary and chief financial officer for the Burlingame Board of REALTORS® and, finally, as that organization's president. At the state level, Lou has been a delegate to the California Association of REALTOR® as well as a representative for the Equal Opportunity Committee and the Governmental Relations committee. Our situation was particularly difficult because we had purchased another home before we had prepared the Burlingame house for sale.
